I've been enjoying the proliferation of vintage '60's drag racers here on TRaK lately so that got me wondering if NASCAR racers from the same period are TRaKable? Thoughts?

In the guidelines one of the things I least wanted to see was NASCAR stuff. However, if it fits "vintage racer" I am ok with it. I mainly meant no "nascar" as in the same reasons I didn't allow 4x4 and Tuners etc.... Vintage racers is ok.... I would say if it's vintage NASCAR, please make sure it's 1965 and older to stay safe.

This is your place Bob and what you say goes as far as I'm concerned but personally I have no interest in seeing anything newer than a 1940 bodied NASCAR here. Not the 70's modifieds with 40's bodies but Strictly Stock rules with fenders. We're drowning in NASCAR everywhere else, I'd like to have a safe haven from it somewhere!

I like the late '50's early '60's Stockers, and have no problem seeing them here, it's the COT crap that I hate, and by definition should NOT be allowed here! All I can tell Ron is - you have THIS cat's blessing, so long as you keep it pre-'65!

My personal feelings have nothing to do with the general membership. I will say it says no NASCAR in the guidelines...let's just keep it out to save confusion. Thanks
