I know I'm sticking my neck out by not working through the entire site first, but One, I love what you guys are doing here! Love it to death! I'm 65 and have built these cars for over 50 of those years...Recently retired and starting from scratch, but 1/25 , 1/24th is really taxing my eyes at this age....Do any of you build 1/18 Diecast Traditional Customs or Rods? Are Diecasts even allowed here? I doubt you could improve anything here...it's all great....I just needed some clarification....Thanks....silent

I know you have been here awhile, but what's your name? There is at least one person that builds those that I know of here. I don't have anything against you doing it here, it's not my ball of wax...but it's not against guidelines to do diecast here. If I remember correctly Bill Stillwagon did one of the Hirohata Merc and it was dead sexy.

Silent, droppedmerc (Mike Jang) here has built some of those 1/18 diecast models, chopped tops, bodywork, etc. They are very kool. Go back maybe a year or so in the finished builds to find them.

Thanks very much Guys....I can't believe I've not found this site before! You do some unbelievable stuff here! I'll be sure to check out the old threads....I started my model building with the Monogram Salt cars and Hot Rods, and started buying AMT/SMP kits in 1958....Like many here, I doubt I could count what I built.....This site is like time travel to me. I may not be of any help, but you can rest assured I'll be loving every minute on the Forum. Thanks for all you guys have done.....silent (and grateful)
