I am building a 1949 talbot-lago grand prix car but was unsure if the race car amendment would cover it as we mostly see drag and salts type builds. Just curious as I think a lot of people here might like it's styling.

Unless it's been customised I'd guess not TRAKable because it'll be a factory stock car, albeit a race car.

Playing Devil's Advocate here, surely a Grand Prix Talbot Lago is about as Factory Stock as an A/FX Ford or Mopar?

The Talbot Lago T-26 is the quintessential Grand Prix car of the early postwar years. But a hot rod or kustom it ain't. It resembles in appearance the old Blue Crown Specials that raced at Indy during the same period, but that's about as far as it goes regarding any link with traditional rod and kustoms, I think. The only other link I can recall is that Tommy Lee owned a gorgeous Figoni & Falaschi bodied Talbo Lago T-150 sports coupe that he ran occasionally at the dry lakes during the war years. Otherwise the T26 was an ocean and a world away from rods and customs...

I agree that I think it's a far bit away from our subject - but a helluva cool car it is nonetheless.
