I'm going to ask what may be a stupid question. Chalk it up to my newcomer status. Does the board auto limit us to one vote in each section??

It doesn't do it automatically, but it's defalt is for each person to vote for "one" option in each category. I can change it to 3 or 6 or.. but I haven't and don't think it's a good idea to do so. I am sure if I left that open for more options like that, it wouldn't be as fair. For example a person has a choice to vote for their 3 fave's....half the members would vote for 3 choices , some vote for two and others only for one entry. There is no way to guarantee each member votes for 3 entries...thus I think is uneven voting. Thanks for asking though, I had to think about it for a minute. |

I participate in polls on another forum where you get 2 votes. I ALWAYS forget and only vote for one which is annoying as once you click that VOTE button you can't go back and add the second one.

The ability is there.....but I think that would be no different than being able to see the votes before you vote.....so I turned that option off. Make sure you choose wisely....no re-do's! |
