Will this fly??? I ask because the only cobra I ever saw on here was a gasser/altered one a few weeks ago. Mine is a mild kustom, I was just going for something different. Let me know oh great TRaKable ones!

I don't know what Bob will say, but I have no objections to this one - It definitely has the right look for an early-sixties' customized sportscar.

Wow Dave, that's cool, I don't know if it's mildly customized or mildly rodded, but it rocks my boat. which kit did you build it from? Thanks for sharing.

It seems to me that the Cobra was a hot rod as it came from Shelby, then became a traditional American Icon. With all due respect to our host I'll say " works for me!" I like the "AMT" decal above the fuel filler. Nice touch.

Neato! ;D This totaly has the look and vibe not only of a mildly customized sportscar of the early 60's (dig the candy red paint job, the pinners and the American mags, and the "for show" door numbers) but it also perfectly captures the spirit of the model cars of that period, too. A die hard sportcar guy, then as now, would probably take strong exception to all those Kustom touches! I say YES!

I'll agree with everything that has been said and add that with the exception of the slicks, everything on the car looks to have been included in the original kit which I believed was released around 1964.
