I saw that the theme for next months 96er was "longroofs". I also saw that the low amount of participants are threatening the 96 hour builds, which makes me wanna save them.... The model kit I have that suits the theme best are my 1923 Model T panel. But....is it even possible to build something TRAKable out of this one? I am aware that it will very easily fall into the show/cartoon rod category... The proportions of the body is making it less interesting for speed... High amount of drag, clumsy, the amount of weight and the high center of gravity. And it's not really the kind of car you would make a kustom out of... I have some ideas, they do contain TRAKable parts only, as well as style, but will the cartoony body style be a problem?

I think it could work, Mattias, you should proceed with cautious wild abandon!

You are so right about this one, but it can be done with "class". Give it a shot!

OK, but keep in mind that if you feel like you have to delete it, I did put it up here because you said that I should "give it a shot", not because I can't follow the rules or to be rude to you, OK?

Correct me if i'm wrong but don't the rules say "themed" show rods are out? If so, then as long as it's not built up like a mobile outhouse or German Helmet (say) then a show rod would be OK?
