Is that your build? If it is, congrats, real sharp! ;D Historically, right on the edge, since the car first ran in '69. I'm not absolutely certain but the kit appears to have been released in early 1970. Regarding the wheelbase and body style of the car, they both can be found on cars running circa 1967-1968. In any case it's a prime example of the extreme length, full bodied, nationally touring cars of the era and these types of cars would come to symbolize the period 1969-1972 before the post-Garlits-horror-crash rear engine revolution. I recently did a Jr. Fueler based on this chassis and I was grateful to have squeaked through, probably because I wasn't running those wide slicks and rear wheels. They are definitely a later style detail and are frequently changed out by builders of the Ivo FED kit. The next time I build an FED based on this chassis I'm going to shorten the wheelbase to give it a more mid-60's flavor.
