61 Falcon....Bonneville bound??

What do you guys think of a 61 Falcon stuffed with a 390 FE, say from 1964ish??.....I've had this Falcon floating around and it was headed another direction, but I've had an urge to build a salty racer, and the Falcon just seems slippery enough to work... I had the salt flat tires and moons from "The Parts Box" just itching to go on something....I got the balls to cut the hood open on the resin body tonight, slapped the tires and rims on the shortened and modified chassis from a Mercury Cyclone, thinking a little more period correct paint scheme, just happens to be gunmetal gray right now.......let me hear your thoughts....?

Looks like a record contender! The beauty of Bonneville is the diversity of body styles and classes. Many of the real cars competing today are very TRAKable (with the exception of safety equipment).
