Sixties Super Stock cars are arguably vintage drag cars but then the whole point was that they were factory stock (at least up until they started altering the wheelbases). So how do we feel about builds of Don Nicholson's '61 & '62 409s, Arnie Beswick's '62 Catalina and Shirley Shahan's '67 Coronet? TRaKable or not?

I am totally fine with them. There have been several posted over the years here. They are vintage drag cars, no matter their stock status at the track. The only types I kinda cringe at are stock vehicles with slicks....better have some decals, harness and other drag stuff....or it's just stock with slicks.

Thanks Bob. I've just read Larry Davis' Super Stock book and it's fired me up to build some of the SS kits i've been buying up. First off the line is the Lindberg Dyno Don '61 Impala.

Sounds good, I have a couple projects too...will I ever get time to finish them?
