It's looking good! I love the skeleton bed, battery box, bed mounts, etc. And the new coat of shiny paint is spiffy.

Coolsville. Tamiya Mica Red = tasty. Especially when you spray it over dark gray primer. Richens it up nicely!  |

UPDATE!And 5 months later... Been working hard to get all the paint finished for this poor thing. The plan is to finally have it completed by the end of next weekend! Now for a crappy quality teaser... (still yet to get decals and clear coat)  Hosted on Fotki

Yowzer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am afraid to ask what decals you plan on putting on it; because I cannot picture decals helping it any at this point.....but possibly taking away from it.......'less is more'. But, it is your build!

is the window frame actually red, or is it a reflection? If it is truly red, I had the same thought, it would probably look better chrome. Otherwise, this thing is pretty kick-ass as it is.
I'm sure you've got the exhaust all hashed out already, but a set of bedside exhausts would look great on this

I think you guys will think more of it when the truck is fully assembled with the red grill, gas tank, full interior and all the trim parts. Exhaust is a done deal but I agree, bed rail pipes would have suited it. |
