Nice variation on that kit, but I'd have to say no. While most of the parts by themselves are TRaKable, the whole thing just has a modern vibe to it. I'm trying to imagine it with a different interior, and sans the velocity stack air cleaners, decals, and headers. Would probably be fine, but then youve got a different model. Anyone else want to chime in?

I'd have to agree with Glenn. Nice build, but the overall vibe isn't what was being done back in the "old" days. Stacy Compton built a nice car, but just gave a "nod" to tradition. Wouldn't be hard to make this kit more traditional, just pay attention to the real historical rods. I'm seeing a trend in the real-car world where younger builders are building cars the way they 'think' it should have been done, in essence, changing history to their own personal liking. This used to piss me off until I realized that a lot of us won't be around much longer, and when we're gone it won't matter to us! .

Funny - it actually reminds me a bit of Hugh Tucker's '28 Chevy drag car after it had been hot rodded some time in the seventies.
It's a refreshingly different take on the kit, but it doesn't quite fit the time-frame in terms of styling. Nice build though!

I think it's a cool as hell build myself but I have to agree it's just quite doesn't fit. Chris is dead on in saying it has more of a seventies vibe to it.
