I finished my 59 Corvette early custom today. It is painted silver base with candy Teal fades. I lowered it and used some Firestone Deluxe champion narrow white-wall tires from a AMT parts pack. I did a little customizing on the body--but kept it simple like it may have been built in the early 60s.

I like the ultra-low stance, the smoothed front bumper, the deep-offset chrome reverse rims, and, of course, the paint scheme, especially the diagonal cut in the door. Bravo!

Maybe that's why I really like it, great work with the panel paint job and that low stance fits very well on this one. Wheel and tire choice couldn't be better either.
