Just finished a project for one of the Theme Tables at this year's NNL West - an aRt Rod, rusty, crusty and not TRaKable, most definitely. So no pictures here, but an invitation from me to head on over to DPMCC to check it out. Here's the link: drasticplastics.proboards.com/thread/5339/29-ford-bucket-rat-rod I missed the discussion and banter here on TRak while building it...

Damn B!...it's crustified appearance aside, that's almost too good looking to be referred to as such. I particularly like the proportions.

Well done B. Thanks for NOT posting numerous pics of your build just to get comments and sneak it in.

Thanks to you both for commenting.
Murphy, thanks for the kind words. Yeah, this project came pretty close to being a TRaKable hot rod. It's really a "crustified" version of my V-12 powered lakes modified of a few years back, but without the narrowed one-man body and with a mild SBC for motivation. In fact I was concerned about whether or not it would land up being "authentic" enough as a aRt Rod, per se. I think I pulled it off but frankly I wasn't sure I would. On the basis of parts vintage it's TRaKable, but in spirit it is wrong, wrong, wrong...
Ron, thanks. I believe we TRaKsters don't take advantage enough of our relationship with DPMCC. As I commented, I missed the discussions and interest among the active TRaK members. DPMCC would benefit from something on that level, for sure. And for those projects we choose to do that don't fit the guidelines here, DPMCC can be a natural outlet. I encourage all of us to consider it!

Looking great B, even if it's a little bit rusty and "ratty"!
