But since it was a VW bug I guess it wasn't a traditional rod or custom. Later in it's life (1993) it became quite "custom". Attachment Deleted

Thanks Christian, pretty much as I had figured, though it doesn't have excessive rear camber nor a narrowed front end, both signs of contempo VWs. Thinking about it though it really doesn't fit the theme at all. Feel free to ashcan the pics if necessary and again, thanks.
