Hello everyone. Posted in the introductions section this evening...I've been working on this on and off and picked it up again after setting it aside to get some after market parts. While I like the '32 -'34 deuce coupes especially when chopped and highboy roadsters, I've always like the look of the 27 Ford T body. So I rummaged through the resin bodies and thought I give this a try. Idea is to use period correct flathead speed equipment, wheels etc. I figured posting here I'd be able to get some advice on the subject as I work through the details. Frame will get the Z treatment in the rear with a leaf spring from a '29 kit and the front axle would be a dropped unit from a Revell Model A kit.

I like where you are headed with this one! Here is a photo of one that I have always liked a lot.......built much like the direction you are headed with yours. This one is on deuce rails and has a 3x2 set-up though. I can't say for sure; but the frame rails might even be pinched in the rear in order for them to tuck up inside the rear fender wells of the body. Hosted on Fotki

I like how this looks! The stance is excellent and that Flathead with twin carbs will look very good too. Can't wait to see this one finished.

While I like the look of highboys on sturdy '32 frames and T buckets on short wheel bases, the '27 has a real nice smooth sporty look.

Interior work with a bench seat - banjo steering wheel is aftermarket - MCG IIRC.

the rear leaf spring is AMT 29 roadster grafted on Z'd frame from Revell '31 woody - front dropped axle from same kit. - looking for period correct hairpin radius rods...maybe the Revell Orange Crate?

I had forgotten I had started this one back in 2017.
I think I put it on the back burner when I went looking for head lights and brackets, and a decent chopped windshield, not being a big fan of Duvals.
When Photobucket dropped me, and wanted big money...I think I lost track of this one and a couple of others.
Surprised to see some of the old Photobucket pictures back up.
I retired this fall, so I think I can start finishing these.
