Is a Ford Cammer 427 like this ok for maybe a late 60's drag car of some sort? David S.

Yes, they came out in 1964. Pretty high end stuff, but they were around... Bill Coon's T-Bird had an injected Cammer. It's a pity there isn't a really good Cammer available in scale. The AMT ones mostly have the cam covers too long/narrow; the IMC one is way too small and the JoHan one is a cobbled together mod on a 429 block. The Johan cam covers have the best proportions, but the details are wrong - IIRC, theirs are symmetrical i.e. same part used both sides, which isn't correct.

Thanks Ron! And do you know if that is a '29 coupe in that photo? Kool coupe pic by the way!! My reference shows it to be a '32 Plymouth. It's a pic of an early version of the Rebel Rouser drag coupe.

Yes, I was trying to find a Plymouth body, either a Roadster or a Coupe that could be modified into a Roadster but came up with nothing. And as I posted a question about it (Was it here or in MCM, I can't remember), someone knew that it wasn't available. So I guess the only way is to try modifying a Ford into one. I would have liked to build a replica of the Art Russell '32 Plymouth Roadster that is nowadays located here in Finland, and it looks the same as it did in the '60s! www.kustomrama.com/index.php?title=Art_Russell%27s_1932_Plymouth
