Working on a 56 Chevy that's running chrome reverse wheels from an AMT 67 Mercury. Are these wheels trakable?

I didn't know the '67 Mercury came with chrome reverse wheels! Are they actually slot mags? Do you have a photo?

Are you talking about the chrome wheels from the 67 Comet? If so I don't see why not even though the 1:1 is a chrome steelie like wheel cover. They were available from '65-67 so definitely "in period".
That's my opinion anyway...I sometimes get swiftly corrected and overruled on such things around here LOL.

If they were available at the time and look like chrome-reverse wheels, then they fit TRAK just fine.

The design of these wheels is a bit odd though. The area where the lug nuts would be (I assume) has a round hole instead. That really doesn't matter here though. They're just fine. Gary

As mentioned above, in 1:1 it's a wheel cover for a steelie...but in 1/25 form, it just looks like a chrome wheel!

So these wheel covers were a factory option '65-'67? Only on Comet's?

When I was a kid a guy in our neighborhood had a 67 Cyclone with those covers, in this color: That could be his car in fact!
