Here is a picture of how the headers had to be modified. I removed the ugly oversized flanges and added some flanges from the Revell parts pack 283. I also changed the angle of the header when "bolted" to the engine. I think the more realistic in scale flanges really made a big difference.

Isn’t that a killer little trick?

Isn’t that a killer little trick? Yes it sure is, wish someone would cast them up and offer multiple sets together. Ahem,, Ed, easy mold, part that uses up the end of the resin in the pot... Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner! I know I would buy a bunch, this would be one of those continual order items that while someone is getting a dozen header flanges they buy sumpin' else too!

The flanges do look good; and are exactly what I came up with myself the last time I looked at those particular headers for a project of mine years ago. If someone wants to make a matching pair and send them to me to mold I will throw them in the pile of parts to get to soon.

This ones on the shelf. I changed my mind on the headers at the last minute. I glued the long tube ones on and I just wasn't liking them.
