I think it all looks great! Definitely wouldn't kick it outta bed. It almost looks factory! (except for the cool blue-line tires and lowering job).

In your initial post in "Is This TraKable?" mention was made of incorporating the rear fender design from the Riv as well, & you mentioned considering that, but you didn't want the Riv's lower body side molding & wanting to keep the El Camino rear end design, (IIRC, mostly behind the rear fender openings).
I agree with you about not including the molding & keeping the overall shape & design of the El Camino in this, but I do think the Riv's rear fender openings grafted into the quarter panels would look better. Right now there's just a bit of an imbalance in your design directly related to the differing openings. They're clashing just a touch.
One other suggestion I have is for using the optional deeper mesh grille in place of the stock grille. Those two changes would give your design just enough of a concept car or mild custom look to make it easy to take it either way, while also smoothing out the otherwise excellent design. Whichever way you decide to go, keeping the lower body character line of the El Camino is a "must", & extending it into the front end would look very sharp.
That said, overall I'm really liking this, & my comments aren't a critique per se, just an observation on cleaning up some minor clashing areas.

I'm baaaaack! Maybe it's just the angle of the pictures but the front wheels don't look like they're centered in the openings.

This is a really cool concept! I've always liked Rivieras and the body style works very well as a Pickup, too. I like where you are heading with it, so I'll definitely keep watching.

Dig the build, Irv. It's a damn cool idea and it's going together great so far. I love the idea of painting the lower portion of the bumper body color to thin out the look of it. Might I suggest smoothing out the bumper by removing the vertical license plate/bumper guards, as well? Along with added paint, that would go a long way towards giving it that concept car or mild custom look Mark Moore mentioned, since the vibe right now feels a just little more "factory floor phantom." I like Mark's suggestion about the mesh grille, too, but it's your build.

I agree on the rear wheel wells I been thinking about them anyway. I am also going to tone down the front wheel lip a little. Not a fan of a mesh grill but, this is a design on the fly build so I will not count it out. The biggest plus of that custom mesh grille in the kit is it's depth, compared to the factory stock grille. I think the 65 Riv is one of the most gorgeous cars ever created, but that stock grille has always bothered me just the slightest. Some depth the the grille really sets off the front end.

I was thinking the same thing as Sam...on those vertical bumper guards. Just my two cents worth

Irving, you always do very nice work! however I personally feel that this is more of a concept build and not necessarily a TRaKAble Kustom. I know you will not feel insulted as you know I love what you do but I feel this would be better off on another forum.

Under Guidelines For Posting On TRAK, rule number four states and is highlighted in red, (concepts are acceptable). well, i stand corrected. I have been out of it so long, I can't remember my own words. embarrassing! Well what I said and what I meant are two different things. I should have said was "phantom" sorry about that. thanks! 4. It's really very simple......Traditional styled pre-1970 rod (1969 and older) , kustom (concepts are acceptable) , vintage drags and salt flat cars ONLY! (some pre 40's dirt trackers and other racers are acceptable)
