This time just a little update. I made new door panels from .020 thick X .080 wide "V" groove RR siding, and the inserts for the seats from .060 half round strips glued to .020 sheet. the Dashboard is from an MPC 1960 Corvette junker that had been painted a nearly unstrippable black. A few pleats were added to the center of it as well. Hosted on FotkiComments always welcome, Gary

Looking good Gary! I actually like the wider pleats on the door panels. The pleats on the dash look cool too.

Time to work on my bench has been hard to come by for way too many weeks, but I do what and when I can. I finished the chassis a few days ago, fairly pleased with myself having followed the instructions to the letter. (Followed instructions, really?!) Yesterday I taped in the interior and placed the firewall/inner fenders in place. Next I thought I could drop the chassis right in place. Nope! Generator interferes with the inner fender, gotta get some room there. Try again, nope! Right exhaust manifold is in the way. More filing on the right inner fender and I have all the room I need now. This is a good reason for checking fits before final assembly. I don't have a picture yet but will have some soon. Gary

Gorgeous! The curves on the new grille opening/headlight pods are so sweet. I like the slightly slabby appearance of the fins, too--reminds me a little of a Sunbeam Tiger!
