IMHO those mags look way too modern. How about some Keystones?

I think those have a little bowtie in the center, but it could look cool if you cover it up with a three-prong knockoff or something. What about the Hurst Mags they just put back into the new Hemi Under Glass kit? Those look to have a deeper offset than the wheels in the Jeepster. They do. I think I can get rid of it or use your idea. I have a Hemi Under Glass kit and it doesn’t have the Hurst mags. It's the first generation Barracuda. That may be why.

"The Kats" at AMT retooled the Hurst Mag wheels that were in the early issues of the HUG and put them in the latest reissue, which I think just came out this month.

I found a set of resin Shelby five spokes and they fit my idea perfect. I'll try to get a set of styrene examples to replace them. I have decided that this will be a concept and not a custom. I'm also going to go full detail with it. So, will a phantom concept Mustang be legal here?

It seems like the more concept and less phantom you go with it, the more Trakable it is, if that makes any sense. Irvin Arter had a phantom Riviera Camino here this spring that everyone liked, but Bob said it didn't fit the guidelines of the board as the build progressed and it became clear he was going for something pretty stock in appearance, aside from the fact that it was made from no fewer than three different cars. The Cibies and full-width tail light you said you were going for will probably help it from looking too "factory." Maybe something like gold lines, similar to the tires on the '67 Mach 1 concept, paired with the Shelby wheels could help, too. I'm no expert, though, and I hope some folks with pistons will weigh in soon.

It will be a phantom concept car since it won't be based on an actual concept. It's just something I came up with from spare parts. I've posted a couple of phantoms here: '36 Ford pickup and a '39 Ford 3W. But, I can see how this wouldn't fit in. I'm further away from actually building it anyhow. I just discovered that I don't have another '67 to source the needed parts for it. So, I'm going to have to buy another one.

Is this based on an actual concept ? The concepts that are TRaKable would be historical replicas or kits that were made to be built as concepts during 1969 or previously. This looks cool, don't get me wrong. Let's make sure it fits guidelines please. thanks!

It looks a lot better than most of the customizing options that AMT through at us back in the good old days.
