I went through my Model closet yesterday and found (Not that I didn't know they wasn't there) a couple of models that I started quite a few years ago. The first one is a '55 Chevy Stepside started before AMT launched their stepside. I used the bed from the '53 Ford and used the custom rear fenders in the kit. Yeah I know it looks like it's gonna be a stocker, but believe me it wont for long! This was how far I got when the AMT stepside came out! You know how it is! You think God Damit and the model end up in the closet! The next one is a '49 Ford. holding on to a horrible secret! Here you go! - Scary right? The next one was started not so long ago, I think '40 Ford with, what was supposed to be a GMC six. A beater for the salt or the strip. Maybe even a speedy pushcar? Last but not least, a '39 Ford Coupe chopped by my good buddy "The Chopmeister" from Denmark!

Nice projects. The 49 ford is My favorite. The 40 panel is very cool too.

I like the 49 ford too! You may call it scary....I call it a sleeper.
That 40 panel would make a great push car!
You should put these back on the bench and at least finish a few of them...

These projects seem to have tons of potential...
I wouldn't worry too much about having attached the '53 F100 pickup bed with custom fenders to the Chevy cab - From what I've heard, those rear fenders are actually more accurately shaped than the ones included in the Stepside kit (Apart from the Corvette-styled taillights, that is...)
