Undated pencil sketch I made circa 1965-1967 when I was about 12-14 years old. When all rear tires were on the ground the steering would be skid-steer by braking one side or the other.

That's so crazy I can imagine someone built it for real, back in the day. It could have been a pure show-rod that never actually saw the strip. There'd be a product tie-in, and lots of cute girls in go-go boots to go with the car. Very cool, and I love that you still have the drawing (or a scan of it).

Thanks, guys. I came across the sketch in a box of childhood stuff. I just looked in the 1960 NHRA Drag Rules book where I found nothing prohibiting 6-wheel entries. It would be a great car for a slick tire manufacturer sponsorship! I have too many build ideas already -- maybe someone else could build this.
