KOOL!!!! Yep.... This car has been on my "want to build" list for a few years now...... I'll be watching this build-up very care closely!!!! On a related note, earlier this week I was talkin' to a buddy of mine about a couple of photos, which I recently stumbled upon on-line, of the " Melrose Missile" topless '65 Plymouth roadster..... So I dug out one of my resin '65 Plymouths to size it up for just such a project..... Now I see your post here..... Maybe it's a sign to go ahead with the project after all!

Bob, as far as i know, it was '66. because my favorite drag cars are early/mid '60's, you'll NEVER see anything newer that here Bob
Marty, where'd you find the picture? i've got a few thanks to my buddy Thumper83. was it by chance at HAMB?
although your's will be finer than mine, i have a few things that i'm gonna do; again, thanks to my buddy Thumper83.

Marty, where'd you find the picture? i've got a few thanks to my buddy Thumper83. was it by chance at HAMB? I don't remember for sure where I snagged that pic. It was on some obscure site thay I stumbled across while researching another car.... Ted Detar's "Kansas Badman" Falcon. I can tell you from my notes though that the Harrell roadster was raced for a short time durring the 1967 season..... The photo that I posted was taken at the 2nd Drag World Invitational funny car meet at Wichita International Raceway in 1967. Other cars present were Harrell's then new '67 Camaro, the "Brutus" GTO, Roger Lindemood's "Color Me Gone" AWB Charger, the Stone, Woods & Cook's long nose Mustang, and the "Seaton's Super Shaker" Corvair.... Must have been one HELL of a show!!!!!!!!!! ;D

cool lookin' project Duane! I'm really starting to like the "instant convertible" funnycars of the era.
By the way, I've heard rumors that Whoopie Kat Decals and Speed Cty Resin are currently working on the Falcon that Marty posted...

Don't know if I should be showing this, but..... Here's a peek at the the master of Detar's Falcon that my buddy, Frank LuQue, sent to Scott over at Speed City. ;D

thank you Clay !!!! there is a tutorial on another board(SA)that Thumper83 has done. he shows every detail in building a tube frame and i'm going to try to build one for Harrell's car.
i'm also going to try to build some other Funnys but, there down the road yet. again, thank you.
