About 1963 or 64. To new? I feel it may be borderline. Paul

Too new??? I don't think so. '63-'64 is right in the heart of TRaK territory. It's not even particularly long in wheelbase. This kit does build up nicely and you've don it justice.

Looks about perfectly trakable from here. If anything is even slightly off, it might be the slicks, & they're still correct for 67-69, so it still fits perfectly.
Good looking model too!

It is not a kit. it is the Garlits rail, the Mongoose Hemi and the Slingster body. it is good to have it mistaken for a kit though! Paul

That's because I overlooked the smaller, better proportioned body. It explains why it looked so tight and hooked up. That's a nice combo. The Garlits chassis is probably the nicest chassis out there of the FED options, having round tubing and mid-length wheelbase and even posable front steering if you care to include it. But I tend to neglect it because of the idiosyncratic 3-point roll cage setup with its longer, shallower angle (a Garlits shop trademark shared by virtually no other source that I've seen). Hidden under the competition coupe body the chassis looks quite prototypical without giving away its Floridian source, LOL.
From your post of the completed model you meant the MPC Wynnscharger. But it looks to me like you must have sortened the chassis. Proportions look too nice to be a 200+ w.b. chassis...
