40 Willys Coupe Gasser

I started building this Willys somewhere around 10 years ago. This is the one Ed used as a master for casting. The project stalled after then and along with my Pickup, they sat on a shelf in display cases for all the years since. I seem to have shifted from customs to Drag Racing of late as I have another Willys, the Pickup, and a Corvair Funny (coming to a finish), soon to be on DPMCC. Do you remember what paint color you used on the wheels? I'm diggin' that dark aged magnesium look.

Looks great Gary. I didn't find a link to your Fotki account. I clicked on Hosted by Fotki but it takes me to the landing page and not yours. Did you build the headers? What I can see looks terrific. If you bought them can you tell me where?

As best as I can recall, they were sprayed with flat black then weathered with pastel chalks.
