Other than the chop and a few details, this is pretty much out of the box. Maybe that's why it just ain't ringing my bell. A little time, and needing something to do, I'll probably tear this down and GEEZERIZE it. ;D But for now, not any room in my case, so back in the box wid it.

Clay, I'm hearing you on the "Not ringing my bell" thing. It seems to sit a little high on the rails to me (but that is just ME). Everything else, of course, looks good. Beehive, flatty, NO electric fan, a GENERATOR (wow, I can't rememebr when was the last time I saw one in a kit!) I just can't quite get what it is under my thumb. Maybe it's just the channel. I do like the body color, though! AND that you used the small headlights down low. Most use the King Bee's down low, and THAT takes a special kind of Rod to pull it off.

Tom, I'm not a big hi-boy fan , but I wanted to try it. All thru the build, I kept thinking, "man, this looks high", but kept convincing myself that it was because i do most everything low. This kit was bragged up so well, but I had a hard time positioning that body and tub. But the parts are all great and the wire wheels are flawless. I'll probably rework this sometime and get it in it's proper place, on the ground ;D Ritchie, Here's the DPMCC Fotki album where there are fotos of building Geezer's Garage II: public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/1/clay_gratz/dioramas/geezer-garage-ii/

Nice hotrod Clay. You'll have to channel that bad girl because, there's no ride like a low ride!

I love the color combination and the engine looks tops! I do agree with you on the stance, though. The highboy just isn't working on this build. The body sides look too tall with the chop.... Maybe just a section? Bah, I'd just channel it and call it done! ;D Screw doing the paint over again!

Not to rag on it, because it's nice build, but I think a simple tire change might be the ticket. That wouldn't require tearing apart the whole model, and I think would improve the look a lot.

I think Craig's on to something. Maybe switchin over to some 5.50 x 16's would do the trick. I DO like them spokes. Those come in the kit? I REALLY need to get one of these, but I just can't accept the price of them yet. Yeah....tires...and a channel job. THAT'll do it!

I did not like the front tires in the kit. They're too wide. Wasn't too sure about modifying the wheels to accept narrower tires and didn't have any in my stash anyway, So, there they are. Maybe some better narrow tires would have made a difference, but I'm not happy with the hi-boy look either, so maybe at a later date, I'll jump into it again.

that came out killer as for the stance problem i think it may just be an illusion because the frame is a different colour then the body. if the frame and body were the same colour i think that would improve the look a lot.
