Got this with 5 or 6 others at the Goodwill by the Pound store. I was going to stripe is for my Silver Sapphire project. Decided to make it in to a 1964 street / strip unit. First I replaced the R & D Unique Pewter rear with a Revell 9" with coils to replace the air bags. THan un did the channel by 2mm to get the tires close to matching the wheel arches. Took the 348 /409 for a different project and replaced it with a 327 SBC. Made a manifold for the Latham Axial Supercharger and used a modified Revell log manifold to run 4 down drafts. Headers are from Tweedy Pie. The Good years came out in 1964 so that locks in the date. Paul THE START THE BACK DATE

I assume you're keeping the original builders paint job? The green is a great color, and the black frame gives this build an "all business" feel. Your updates so far are spot on. I love those blue line rear tires. I just wish Round2 would give us some fronts to match.

The paint rubbed out and all the cigarette stuff came off, so it looks better. The AMT 64 Olds 442 is going to have tires with Red stipes on one side and gold or blue on the other side. I think it is blue. I have a set from the original issue 68 Impala SS but no idea where they are. Paul
