Man, that's a real headscratcher as to why the 1:1 builder put so much time and money into an oddball lower fuel class car but it sure looks TRAKable to me. I'll guess that it was to publicize the engine builder sponsor's expertise. I wonder how well the bicycle tires held up at high speeds.

Only thing I can think of is it's not NHRA or any of the other main stream associations. It ran under NASCAR Drag regs. or he just wanted to say he did it. I've done that a few times.

Wicked cool. i love "alternative" powerplants aside from the SBC's and Hemi's of the era. Are you going to build it using the leftover engine from your Jag replica?

An altered or rail with the Jag kits 6 was in the plan from the get go. I've got the remains of a Garlits chassis, a set of pie crusts and a loose plan. Won't be exact but close including his home brew C.I.S. induction and Blue instead of Gold.
