Excellent build! Perfect timing as I was supposed to run my 55 at the opening day at N.E.D today in N.H. but we were rained out.

Thanks guys! I'd love to see a pic of your 55 Paul. Is it a Gasser?

Thanks guys! I'd love to see a pic of your 55 Paul. Is it a Gasser? It was built by my dad as a D/G in 1962, with a 283 bored to 301 dual quads and a 3 speed. I bought it from him in 1969 and put in a 396 4 speed with 5:13 gears for the 1/8. Now it is 2022 and I'm running a 8/71 with a pair of two barrel Dominaters on a 572 hooked to an old Art Carr Clutch Flite 727 with 4:10 gears.
The best et in 2019 was 8:923 @ 159.55 and 8:993 @157.93 running 70% E-85 , 20% Benzine and 10% Castor oil and no juice. I have a new set of AFR heads, a custom ground Lunati cam and redid the entire fuel system in 1" feed with a pair of Pro pumps and 5/8" to carbs. Hope to get into mid 8's this year.
