Even though I've got some UFOs -- trakinscale.proboards.com/thread/19515/trakable-ufos-kind -- I've gotten an idea to build something new in the style of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. His early cars are clearly TRAKable: Tweedy Pie, Beatnik Bandit and Outlaw. My idea is for something goofier, but still '60s looking, than his Mysterion, Orbitron and Surfite creations. Mine wouldn't be a themed showcar (those are not TRAKable such as Beer Wagon, Outhouse, etc.). However, it also wouldn't be identifiable as having been created from a production car.
What do you think? You probably want to see something before commenting. I'll see if I can make something visual to show it.

Something along the lines of the Wishbone? I always want to go full Roth and his Little Jewel when it was originally red. Paul

Paul Yes, something that goofy although it would probably have a hopped-up '20s Ford 4-cylinder engine. Until reading your post I had never even heard of the Wishbone. It has a quite a model car-related story: silodrome.com/ed-roth-big-daddy-wishbone/ . Thanks!

I've answered my own question: it would be too goofy for the TRAK in Scale website.
Instead, I've posted a rough sketch on Drastic Plastics:
