Hi guys, just wondering if this would be TRAKable with the red and blue anodized fittings. I looked it up and found out that the fittings were used on some race cars back in the late 50's early 60's put I'm not sure if it would pass on this build.

AN fittings date from WWII and seem to have appeared on rods and racers soon after with natural color fittings.
I think that the red and blue became popular in the mid-'70s. There's a 2009 discussion of it here:
I don't have a strong opinion. I'm sure that others will comment. I would guess that the red and blue ones could "pass" as TRAKable for the same reasons that a too-new battery is OK.

I like that ! The thing I am wondering about is the tank in the bed. I don't remember seeing that back in the 60's. But what do I know? I still like it!

A N fittings in Black, Red and Blue go back to just prior to WWII as a common fitting for all Army / Navy aircraft. Trakable. As for the tank, it's a MOON shop truck .bet they would have all their products on it including a "Big Drag" tank. Paul

Have no issue with the AN fitting color, got to see a Boeing factory restoration of a B17(G I think) taking place at the Renton Wash. assembly plant back in the late 80's. It had the Black, Red, and Blue fitting colors which are Color Coded for the systems - Fuel, Oil, Hydraulic. The real difference between the WW II issue anodizing is the colors were much duller than what we are used to seeing on today's applications.
Moon Tank - Well it's a Moon Shop Truck after all, I could see Dean Moon fab'ing up a really big Moon Tank for a shop truck, it was his design after all.
Now to the important stuff. Your "Little Moon-Beam" looks pretty darn Sharp! What's not to like about it, down to the small block Chevrolet, which Dean Moon built tons of cool parts for. I think (SBC) were the first OHV engines he made parts for. (Have to check that out in my book on Moon [Moon Equipped].)

certainly has the vibe, but seems more like a retro style in my opinion. not say...it's not a cool build but don't think it meets 100% of the TRaK criteria..
