Modified and customized from a 'Unique Replicas' stock Studebaker coin bank toy: Avanti R2 V-8 and instrument panel (Aurora Avanti kit), lowered and louvered engine hood, filled side-mount and reduced radii on front fenders, smoothed running boards, lowered headlights, louvered and rolled tailgate area, softened windshield shape with stainless wire trim., dual tubing exhaust, chrome steelies on wide whites (Revell/Monogram Deuce roadster kit), custom mixed Pearle paint, etc., etc.

Spectacular work Cliff. Is it die-cast metal? If so, that makes your work even more impressive. I keep looking and can't figure out where the extra chrome on the front translated into the hood and trim. Did you section it somehow?

Looks good -- and the hi-po Stude engine in a Stude is a nice touch, too.

That looks great! I've always liked some of the "odd ball" pickups like the Stude's, Hudson's they seemed to have a bit more flair than what the big three was putting out at the same time! Art Deco anything is just darn cool anyway!
