That's beautiful. I especially like the taillights in the bumper guards. All of it is so smooth and authentic looking. If I could offer a suggestion, you might paint the vertical supports in the grille flat black to emphasize the horizontal bars.

I guess Yanne channeled his drawing quite a bit. I never noticed it before, but now that I can see his and mine, there's a major difference in the altitude. Ah wellll. Gary

You got the nose high "sppedboat" stance. Although my preference is for the car to sit much lower, not every car built back then was as low as janne's illustration.
Love the paint color. Nice work overall.

Fabulous job Gary. It's a lot easier to lower a drawing than a model. Kuddos.

Gary, that is absolutely exquisite! Has the WoW factor clear into next year and beyond. The color and the way it's rubbed on makes it look like one of those hand rubbed lacquer paint jobs of old, the metalflake is there to tell you that it's new and beautiful paint. Guess it's time for you to get going on the Convertible version, maybe...

Skip, I was already mulling around in my head about channeling the frame up into the underside at least five inches. Now for the convertible body.....that's another thing. Gary

falconwagon, just go back to the bench for that build thread. Then just click on any picture and go forward or back. I don't know why I started posting so far into the build thread. I know I lowered the rear of the top and laid down the window. Gary
