Randy, I'll be following along. I thought it strange that you didn't just go with a 56 Chevy hardtop and then I looked and could only find a Monogram kit as the sole entry. Lots of 55's and 57's and the Revell 56 Del Ray sedan, but not much in the way of 56's to choose from. OBTW really nice work on grafting things together.

I LOVE reading or knowing about cars like this! I knew a guy years ago that had his first car, the car he took to prom , his other car etc.... all in a huge barn. Beautiful ride man, can't wait to see the scale version!

Oh, this looks promising! Your car is beautiful! A '56 Belair HT is on my kit bash list, too, so I'll be following along.

After several hours of meticulous sanding under a magnifier (yes, my closeup vision is that bad), I shot first primer this morning to see where I'm at. so far, I'm pretty happy with this, and my India Ivory and Nassau Blue paint are on order from MCW.

Looking good Randy. Looks like a bit more sanding is in order. Get that magnifier back out. I use the strongest reading glasses I can find and occasionally use my magnifying head piece (5x I think). Getting old is not for the faint of heart.
