I wanted to build something different as a Gasser so I started out with the Revell 48 Ford Police car kit. To give it that cool lookin' Gasser stance everything had to be changed out on the chassis with parts from my spares box. The engine is a one piece 3D printed I got from ebay. The body was airbrushed with decanted Tamiya TS-53 deep metallic blue and cleared with Testors. Most of the decals are from Slixx and some from the spares box. Thanks for lookin'!

Nice Lookin' Gasser! Bet that 8-Port injector setup would be a hand-full to tune with pills. Electronic would be a plug and play operation though, but they didn't have laptops and such back in the day. (Think of the advances we would have had if they did!) The Engine looks great in that expansive engine compartment too, fills the void and then some! You did a nice job of the bare metal look with the magnesium, aluminum, steel and brass not too shiny, not too dull either! Another Sharp-One!
Paint looks sweet, reminds me of the Ford black-n-blue, where the black paint would pick up that bluish tint. I've tried to replicate and/or find some sort of paint that would do that effect, flip flop and color shift all shift way too much to other colors than the purplish blue tint to look right. Ford black-n-blue was the coolest look on those old survivor cars back in the day, makes me think "Early Ford Hot Rod" when I see it!
