So, I kinda teased y'all in the "Please Vote" thread & then remembered I'd took a few pics a little while ago. Most of the build is from the Double Dragster kit. The Dragster body & the streamliner chassis will be used together, as well as the Hemi in the kit. To get a Mooneyes Dragster vibe, I'm using the front mounted blower from the '63 Nova wagon kit. The blower needed a styrene spacer added to ensure the blower & front engine cover are correctly aligned: Fits like a glove now! Scoop's gonna be mounted on the side of the blower once all is said & done: I'm using the rims, slicks & wire wheels from the Tony Nancy double kit that's providing parts to other projects. The optional dragster front tires from the Atlantis Fiat Gasser were cleaner than the ones in the Nancy kit: I could have used the similar rims from the Fiat, but they lacked molded in hub covers/caps, & I didn't want to raid them from that kit, so these with the covers molded in were the way to go. Quick mockup to give us some perspective: Since taking those pics I painted the blower, manifold & injectors tonight.

Mark, That looks great! Love the Potovin type front mounted supercharger and the "down on the side" scoop, that's gonna look sweet when you get it finished!
I think those old Revell wire wheels are some of the best out there, still. Makes me wish that someone would offer a decent photo-etch dragster wheel again. Like the ones Norm V. offered with the "tool" those were one of the nicest photo-etch wheels around. If we can't get the photo-etch wheels the Revell wheels will definitely do the job!

My issue with PE wire wheels is due to the process, the spokes can often be & look too flat. Most kit wire wheels, (especially dragster fronts), usually look too thick, especially with chrome plating. The Revell ones are indeed the best looking from a kit, & much improved once the thick plating is removed.

interesting to see them wheels stripped, they are quite clean looking! Yeah, they are clean. With so many of my builds now, I'm usually either stripping chrome from rims & repainting them more accurate metallic colors, or spraying flat or semi-gloss clear over the chrome, both in order to make the parts look more realistic. Once the often too thick chrome is removed, it's usually amazing to see how clean & well engraved the parts are.

Really like where your going with this Mark. Are you sure the injectors and scoop will clear the frame? It will certainly look great coming out the side of the body. I wish there was some way to make the back of the streamliner body look good. I've tried to imagine how to modify it but haven't come up with anything.

Yeah, I did a mockup with the engine in the frame, & the blower, injectors & scoop secured with Liquid-Tape before painting the blower & injectors. It all clears the streamliner frame which is longer, & I believe a bit lower than the dragster frame. Somewhere, (MCM perhaps?), I saw a WIP of the 1/8th scale Exterminator dragster done up this way & it had to be modified to fit. That's what made me test fit everything.
