Yup, nothing like a nice coat of metallic silver for finding those boo-boos for sure. Looks great though.
I'm always very tempted to stop there when I got to that point on a candy paint job.

Great looking build, oh and there’s no such thing as a quick build 🤪

Eww! Metallic silver with pearl white, candy yellow and candy blue fogging? It should look better, I hope, with an overall candy green.

I think that I'll name it "Green 'Gator" to go with the darker candy green and black body colors. My planned color things didn't work out. After some Tamiya TS-13 clear, polishing, foiling, etc. I'll move on to final assembly. The interior is probably finished unless I come across the stuffed alligator from a '60s AMT kit that I'm sure that I have...somewhere. I polished the windows up to 12000 grit then slobbered on Pledge with Future followed by a light fogging of transparent blue-green on the upper part of the windshield.
This will probably be my final post of this in the On the daggumb bench category. When I get it done, I'll post pix in On the freakin' shelf. The paint has some fun stuff going on with pearls and fades that will look much better in direct sunlight.
