Great job on the tilt frontend and rear wheel openings. The 3D parts really add to the realism. Nice work!

That hi-rise is a piece of art, as is the rest of this build. 3D printing seems to be the way to go on some of these much-needed parts. Would like to find a hi-rise like that for a Dodge 440.

I like it a lot! I need that intake for a stalled out project of mine. Did you make it yourself?

I am in the slow process of mastering another '30 Model A coupe (two technically). Dennis reworked the lower half of the body and restored the wheel wells/quarter panels to the stock configuration. I started work on two new roof tops......one is chopped a bit more than Revell's out of the box and the other one will be a stock height roof. I am using the visor from the old Monogram Model A coupe on both and had plans on grafting in the cowl from the Revell '30 Model A sedan body possibly. I am hoping to have all the master work wrapped up by the fall but time will tell.

Ed I think I'd be interested in the stock height roof, I kind of like that East Coast High-Top Low-Body look it looks so low with all kinds of go! How's you been doing? Getting any bench time lately or just time! I thought that I was going to get all this time to do my own stuff, well it hasn't happened yet, I'm waiting for the real retirement to kick in!
On to that Sweet '55 Chevy, all I can say is WoW, you're on TRAK with that one, can't wait to see the stuff you're printing up for this one. Must almost feel like printing money! LoL!! Really like that front Stub Frame, the coil overs and all sort of say Super Gas, almost like they were running at the end of the Gas Class days.

No bench time here since last Fall and that was just enough to get the master work (revamped) done on the chopped '34 Ford 5 window coupe and start on the Model A coupe stuff. Since I am flying solo on master work now (Dennis has a lot on his plate this past year and hasn't been able to get to the bench); it is all I can do to get everything done without it all coming to a grinding halt..........which it will if I can't muster enough new items to mold by the fall. As it is I'm not too certain how we will fair through the summer. Anyway, I don't want to hijack the thread with catching up. P.S. I've replied numerous times to your pm's when you'd check in to see how things were going but am not certain you ever get my reply since I don't hear back from you again after that! LOL!

This is a really cool project. I'm pretty sure anyone who has been reading some other scale model forums as well as this one, has seen several other Two Lane Blacktop '55 replicas in the works. But glad to see one that is going to be built "right" (in my opinion, only painting you regular '55 Chevy flat black doesn't make it a Two Lane Blacktop replica). There's some really nice work going on here, keep it up.

Unfortunately, the box fell off a pile and the front end broke, so I have to redo the subframe and axle. Edit - not the end of the world though. Floorshifter on Instagram posted some photos I hadn't seen before, showing the car as Richard Ruth delivered it. Those proved that the front tyres were Pirelli radials (CN72 Cinturato), so I redrew them and printed some new ones. Who would have thought the TLB '55 ran the same tyres as an Aston Martin or Lamborghini Miura?
