Wish I had a spare parts box with that kind of build material. Excellent build of a lower-class Gasser. That AMT Willys is one of my all-time favorite kits.

Nicely done Willys! Great to see something else than an out of the box - type of build of the new Revell Willys (definitely nothing wrong with that Revell kit, but we've just seen so many of them ). Really nice build, the color and graphics on the paint are spot on.

So, Mr. Sharp, I love those front tires and front wheels they look like the 135 X 15" Perelli Tires so many of the Gassers, Hot Rods and Cal Look Beetles ran in the late 60's up through about '75 or'77 when I bought my last pair. Nice low profile without being the rubber-band-aid tires the kiddies started running in the '80s & '90s. I could see those tires on a whole slew of '60s type Gassers, Funny Cars, Altered, Hot Rods or you name it, they just look too stinking cool, almost like an oversized O-ring! LoL!! Have to even wonder whether Perelli even makes a 135-profile tire anymore?
