The more I see these JF bodies, the more I want one to work with!!! Of course, I am diggin this! Now that I have a source (locally) for JF resin, I just need to start scraping up some more skratch for some of the projects that continually leak outta my mind!!!!!!! I dig the Pie-Wagoin carbs on that mill for this, and the color (oddly enough) DOES look comfortable on this. Zinc-Oxide, or insignia yellow? Nice!!!!!!

Jimmy Flintstone casts this body but I think this is an original AMT body. Charles

Ahhh Ok Now I see. Not much on resin knowledge in fact my only resin I have is a set of rims for a wagon lol. Certribes right this is an Original body was in my Dads and uncles stash from their youth Judging the age of the body we think it was actually my oldest uncles build ( maybe I should use that print in the paint to prove it lol ) It was painted and build in the 60s only change I made to the existing rod was remove the kit blower in favor of the Pie wagon carbs because I didn't want to redo the belt drive. I still have the blower and may someday redo the belts and put it back in its proper home.

Ed at Drag City casting casts the frame for this model too...I have a built up that I stripped down and took apart that I want to rebuild. Though, I think I will do a flathead, possibly with a McCulloch style blower for it. Maybe use the suspension parts from a 29 Ford or the "Hot Rod" frame from an old AMT parts pack.
