As sort of a challenge between Terry Love, Chuck Eastin, Larry Boothe & myself, we are all building 51 Chevys. For once, I'm doing chassis & interior fit before ever cutting on the body. I am using a modified 66 Chevelle station wagon chassis & engine. The inner door panels, seats, firewall & inner fenders had to be sectioned to fit with the channeled Chevelle chassis. I added a bit of detail to the seat backs to look more like the real deal. I had to move the engine back to clear the radiator, & modified the driveshaft tunnel for driveshaft clearance. I also "C" notched the frame & will make an airbag setup with O-rings. Almost ready to start chopping! Steve www.sbkustoms.com

Bags? Bags?! What are bags?! Just yankin' yer' chain! I like the idea of using the "modern" running gear. Thought 'bout doin' that with my '51. Still thinkin' on it.
