well i WAS headed another way with this, but i believe this is going to be better. i just need some wide whites i think. this is completely shaved other than the window frames. i built in a roll pan in the rear so there will not be a rear bumper. as for the front, probably bumperettes. i started and finished at this point almost two years ago.....with the awesome work i see here, im going to get back to it. the color is hard to capture, but in person it's really kool color! I remember this one! I was wonderin' what happened to it! Still looks scrumdilliecious! I think that you should go with the skinny stripes on this. It goes well with the Astros and the stance. Good mid-sixties kinda' look. I think that if you used Whitewalls, it would "force" the look. Skinny stripes are a subtle addition, not an overpowering attraction, ya' know?

Anytime! (Just give me time after midnight, as I am on my dial-up connection. It takes about 3 minutes for each page to load!)

I was thinking the same thing about the tires. Leave 'em as is. It surely works for the overall look. Steve

The car is tits. Love the wheel/tire combo on it. One suggestion...paint the roof metallic silver.

I'd stick some red stripes on those tires with the Supremes. Kind of a Vintage Hot Wheels look.
That paint job looks awesome!

man i love that nomad, i hope its turn comes pretty sooon, i'd love to see it finished been thinkin about building another one but extremely kustom this time around (like my 55 nomad turned elky wasnt kustom enuff) thinking of something like urs but in a pearl yellow faded down to a pearl orange (like the monster garage 54 chevy) and calling it Tequilla Sunrise ......but at the same time im thinking of adding a different bodystyle to the collection maybe revell's 55 convert done as mentioned above..... dunno but i can see the paint thats for sure i hear ya. i want mine to sit down low so it's gonna be fun sectioning the interior hehe!
