Wait a minute! Is it a glue bomb? If'n dat's da case, then ya' freeze 'em, and then you can pop the glue joints more cleanly.

you're right Tom but, the Merc isn't a glubomb. it has some delicate pieces as you know, in the front end. the rear axle housing and springs are loose. i thought i'd try this so i wouldn't break the pieces is all. the body is glued to the frame, it has tiny glue spots where the trunk emblem and tail lights are. the same with the hood ornament. it was cast in a maroon so no paint(kinda pretty). the Ford needs a dip in the Purple Pond. is dark blue with red showing through. it was cast in tan. it has some tiny runs and has been BMF'ed but, it hasn't been glued anywhere. DAMMIT guys !!! i sat here the other night and worked taking that friggin Merc apart and now i need some parts. the rear wasn't loose, the springs were busted. i got the front end out from under it and the spindles were busted too. as i was taking the lower "A" frame off, one of the studs that located it to the frame snapped. i wrote AMT and they gave me sources for new parts. i think that i'm good to go now.
