I don't usually post a photo of a body in primer but this may be heading towards FUBAR land. Like the 40 Panelrod. This shows it in a black laquer, but I now have it in black base coat. Almost ready to spring the flathead that will power it on youse all.

Tell Igor it is time to brush up on his welding. We cant be having welds like that on customers cars now can we ? I told Igor that y'all were raggin on his welding, He got a little miffed, but don't worry, he has a short memory. Y' might just lock yer doors for a couple of nights, tho, just to be sure. I made him fix them even tho nobody will notice when youse see the paint job. I finally got one going the way I want it to.

Way to squeeze lemonade out of this particular lemon. The profile on this really looks right for a salt flats car, and that engine is insane!

Geezerman the chop on your 40 LSR car is insane, and with that blown flathead your build is really gonna blow some people away.I cant wait to see it finished. What are you doing for tires? I have a 38 Chevy waiting to be taken to the salt,so I did a little experimenting and made these from a pair of cheater slicks from Perry's Resin.Just sand them to a more rounded shape and add salt. The "salt" is white Liquitex acrylic artist paint put on heavy to simulate the salt build-up on the tires there. Sorry for the blurry picture I couldnt get the camera to cooperate.
