This is the Buyer's Choice issue from 1995. It's been de-chromed and dropped. I think it will be Hot Rod Grey primer with scallops. The rear end will be mostly stock except for different tail lights. I'm working on a tube grill for it.

HMMMM i didn't see the sheet either, i have so far cut the roof off and done some mockups.....i will probably use the new skirts then since the color will match under primer better lol public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/1/2/current-projects/1963-ford-galaxie-c/

Made some progress on this one also. It has to sit a couple days, then I'll clean it, and spray it with Testors Dull Cote. It looks black in the pic, but it's DupliColor Hot Rod Grey Primer. The tail lights are custom lenses from the kit in the stock housing with added blue dots. The milkiness around the lense in white glue. When completely dry, it will dissapear!

How did you do the Blue Dots? Thats cool I was waiting for that question! Didn't have to wait long! Go to your local craft store, and find a bag of blue sequins about 3/16" in diameter. Look for the shiny bright ones. Sequins are little round decorative things. In that bag, in addition to the sequins, you will find the little blanks they punch out of the hole in the middle. Those little round pieces make perfect 1/25 scale blue dots! Glue them to the middle of the tail light with white glue. I use Testors Clear Parts Cement.

Ha! I've been using the sequin center idea for years too- they also make great upholstery buttons. Excellent scallops, very mid-sixties.

That's coming along neat, Crusty. I could live without those scallops, but diff strokes fer diff folks, y' know. Love 'em in primer.

Another way to "glue" down small things like blue dots and lenses is to use brush on testors clear enamel.
