I bought this kit thinking all the parts were there to build a box stock car. You can imagine my surprise when I opened the kit and found it is the same kit as the 32 classic. After raging ( I just wanted an easy box stock build) I found the small disclaimer on the box "model will need to be modified to build as pictured".... I settled down and started to grind away on the body. I'm still kinda pissed that there is no roll cage parts at all. this is as far as I have gotten. planning on some weathering and I still need to scratch build most of the crash bars etc...

I can understand your frusteration. I hate AMTS false advertising on their boxes as well. Did they even include instructions on building it as it was on the box or are they the exact same as inluded with the classics kit? Anyways the model looks awesome so far and I will be waiting for updates.

Seems like someone else ran across this situation a while back on another forum. Race car pictured on the box, but you had to make it into one. This looks like a nice start. Detailing, dirt. ;o) , be a nice model.

The only thing that came with this kit was a decal sheet and a peice of paper with 6 pictures of the car. explaining all the parts you need to get from other kits or skratch build to finish. May as well buy the classic 32.
