Thanks guys. This one is really coming together pretty well. Here's a rear shot. I've been working on getting the chassis squared away. Not an easy task when it sat so damn high out of the box.

Eric, you said that you didn't like the hood on the '60. there somethin about it, for me, that really makes the '60-'61 Chevys look unique. i've ALWAYS liked the look.

Eric, you said that you didn't like the hood on the '60. there somethin about it, for me, that really makes the '60-'61 Chevys look unique. i've ALWAYS liked the look. Usually the snorkels make the hood look way to massive. They always seemed out of proportion to the rest of the truck to me. But I'm starting to warm up to them, and the hood really works on this one I think, so it's definitely staying.

That is BADASS!
I agree, for some reason, the '60 hood actually looks great on this build. Sometimes the snorkels overpower it, but not here. Nice work, Eric.

i've only seen the Fleetside Chebby with the snorkel. the shortbox stepside with the bigger rear window is what brings this design all together for me. this has GOT to be the SLICKEST '60 Chebby that i've EVER seen.

Thanks guys. I'm half-assed looking for a 1:1 of this truck because I like this build so much. These trucks are still a dime a dozen, you can buy every replacement part you'd ever need to fix, and it's not so wild that I couldn't get it done pretty quick. It probably wont happen, and it's not like I don't have a hot rod to build, but I'm still considering it.
