Charles, that looks like it's gonna be a great build. keep it up my friend, i wanna see MORE of THIS puppy. As far as I know the kit was only offered in 65. Got her primered and found another couple of spots to putty. The hood had been hacked up for a scoop, going to partially patch and add the snorkel hood from the 66 Nova kit. Charles

This is the hood I have been working on, the built had had a hole roughly cut in for a hood scoop, smoothed it out, puttied in the holes caused by the glue. Also cut out the molded in tabs along the sides to 'hold' the hood' and cut out and formed where the screw-in and radiator went. Found a parts box 426 hemi which had been given to me a few years back, cut off the manual tranny so I could use the resin 727 torqueflite tranny and deep tranny pan, the side of the dual carb intake had broken when removing it from the block, so scratched a new side (from styrene taken from the kit's original radiator) and two resin rochester carbs to provide air... This is going to be built as a late sixties 'hot rod' and drag car...prob'ly illegal street drags, so hopefully that will make it fit with in the boundaries of the TRaK, if not, I will stop posting pics of the build here.
