looks alot like the '49 Plymouth 4-door i have in my driveway. is it going to be a curbside build or are you going to build up a chassis and nice engine for it? Dave

Dave mmm .. kinda looks the same . the FJ was the first Holden car to be made exclusively in Australia .. up untill then Holden was reproducing American GM cars for sale here . ( i'm no historian but i think that's the word ) this is the car that the EFIJY show car is inspired by and pays homage to ... BTW a little bit of something i worked on . was thinking curbside but ... i might get motivated .

I love the Aussie cars. especially the UTES. But they're always too expensive for me at this point.
What quality is the casting?

Very unique. I've been eyeing some of those resin conversions by cavalier on ebay for awhile. Maybe i should pull the trigger.

i never knew the name of this car although i have seen them on tv. i'd always wondered what it would take to dress it up a bit. Artus, you have made a drastic change in this Holden with just a simple tire/wheel change. this is really coool. it DOES look like the '49-'50 Plymouth with '50 Olds taillights, i like it.
